The Journalism Students' Online News Service (JSONS) is Emerson College's only regular, independent, student-produced online news medium. It was started in the summer of 1995 as an outlet for the work of students in Dr. Paraschos' print and multimedia journalism classes. Today undergraduate and graduate students in those classes continue to serve as reporters, editors, opinion writers, photographers and videographers of the content of the site. Several other journalism classes, under the supervision of their instructors, contribute regularly to JSONS. The students and their instructors are solely responsible for the material on the site.

Dr. Paraschos can be reached at 617 824 7808 or at Emmanuel_Paraschos@Emerson.edu
