Boston was painted in rainbow colors this Saturday as thousands celebrated Gay Pride Parade 2008. Members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBT) and allied communities worked together toward a "stronger, more just, cleaner and kinder world".
For 38 years, the Boston Pride Committee has organized a week of events in June that culminates with the parade, the largest in New England. This year's theme was "Sustaining Our Community, Conserving Our World."
